Where every child finds their passion

Kingsley School Devon is a proudly non-selective, fully inclusive boarding and day school on the North Devon coast. We believe wellbeing comes first — and that when young people feel known, safe and inspired, success follows naturally.

Our Ethos

Achieving success through positive mental health and wellbeing

At Kingsley, we believe the foundation of every achievement — academic, personal, sporting — is a young person who feels genuinely known and supported. Our core values of Appreciate, Be Active, Connect, Give and Learn run through every part of school life.

We are inspired by Charles Kingsley, a North Devon author who believed in the transformative power of a holistic education. We combine modern thinking with traditional values, developing complete, compassionate individuals who are ready to shape a better world.

"All you need to be happy is something to be passionate about."
Charles Kingsley · The Water-Babies, 1863

Surfing at Kingsley isn't an after-school activity — it's embedded into school life from Year 1. Our North Devon coastline, including Saunton, Croyde and Putsborough, provides world-class waves all year round. Students build resilience, focus and a deep connection with the natural world.
